Salt Lake City . . .

The first stop on my return to Florida was Salt Lake City, famed as the site of Sterling Consulting World Headquarters. I had a great time visiting with Jim Gunn, Gayle, and the Sterling Consulting office manager, Jasmine.

Jim graciously cleared an entire day to take me around Salt Lake City. We toured all the important places, including Graybar, where I bought a handful of much-needed network cables and Jim at Altacooed over the other goodies that I didn't really need but wished I had.
We also took a trip to Alta, located above the Snowbird ski area. Stream Below AltaBeing used to the Montana mountains, the vegetation on the slopes seemed rather sparse to me, but I guess skiers wouldn't pay the big bucks to visit a resort if they kept banging into trees on the way downhill. It was very nice to climb above the city and gaze at the Rockies one more time before I headed back east.
On our way back, we stopped for a while to let the brakes stop smoking. Just down off the road was one of those beautiful mountain streams tumbling down the valley.

All in all, a very pleasant visit.
